This project was inspired by Lady Gaga's album, “Chromatica.”

Visually, Chromatica comes across as strong and fierce, like a shield.

However, when I listened to the album, I felt a mix of strength and pain, hope and fear, healing and suffering, happiness and sadness. This contrast I found in the album led me to use a watermelon as a symbol for this project.

As Chromatica suggests: "I am hard on the outside, but if you see inside."
